Ideas for Multimedia Group Project

1. Columbia's Largest Indoor Garage Sale: This is an event that will be going on at the Columbia Expo Center on February 25 from 12:30 to 3:30. There will be 19,000 sq ft. of people trying to sell stuff, so it could be interested to cover it as an event or find one interesting booth and go from there.

2. Elderly Care in Columbia: This is a very broad topic, but I think it would be interesting to work on something that has to do with how the elderly are taken care of in Columbia. There are places like Lenior Woods, but there is also something called Adult Day Connection with Mizzou where senior citizens who live with their children are dropped off so they are not alone the whole day.

3. Family-owned businesses: I got this idea from thinking about Liv's story and driving past Cafe Poland every day. I think this would be interesting to look at how businesses were passed down and if the current owners actually wanted to take it over.
