first assignment of the semester: complete
My first photo assignment of the semester! How exciting!
I think that my entire class basically did the same lighting setup for this assignment. I was triumphant in figuring out how to get rid of the glare at the binding of the book while I was photographing a photo that took up two pages. I just had to rotate it 90 degrees so the binding was perpendicular with the lights. Really simple fix, but I was proud. The only problem that really frustrated me during this assignment was that I would continue to get my hand in the reflection of the glass. Because I had a fixed 35mm on my camera, I had to raise it up higher so it was not in the way of the light. It solved the problem of my reflection in the photo, however I had to crop it way more than I should have needed to. For the next assignment, I will make sure that I properly equipped with everything that I need. I ran out of battery on my camera, and luckily I had an extra battery in my backpack that had a little bit of juice left.
This diagram took me about 4 tries to draw before I decided that I was being overly picky.
